Healing In The Balm Yard

Samantha passionately believes in holistic healing that combines modern mental health tools while embracing traditional spiritual practices. However, after deeper self-reflection, she realized she needed to go further in her mental health journey and find spiritual guidance through other therapeutic methods.

During the pandemic, Samantha continued to learn and refine her understanding of mental health through shadow work. She reconnected with her father's family in the south and began to learn more about her Geechee roots. Through this process, she met many family members who passed down recipes, spiritual practices, stories, and overall self-care knowledge that inspired Balm Yard.
